starting over / deleting a blog

  I am only just starting out and can’t make my blog visible to general public so thinking it would just be easier start over again. If I delete my blog can I restart with the same name? Or how do I restart?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can delete all content from your site by yourself, following the steps here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  Staff can empty the whole site for you. That will remove all data including posts, pages, tags, categories, comments, and uploaded files and once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.

  If you are sure you want Staff to proceed, and you are ok with waiting then type modlook into the tags in the sidebar of this thread for Staff attention and post again to this thread to confirm what blog you want emptied and that you understand this is not reversible!

  If you delete the blog the name can never be used again – so that is not a good solution – you can clear the contents, does not look like you have much in your site

  Empty Site:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  If you have too much content to empty the site yourself you can have the staff empty the site for you.

  NOTE: Once content is deleted and the Trash emptied you will never get your content back.

  http://homegrownheaven.wordpress.com/ – is visible to me – is there another site you need help with?

  It can take 4 to 8 weeks or so for search engines to index a new site and that is only if you have something worth indexing – also you wan to have some Posts since Posts call up search engines and ask them to stop by, Pages are static and don’t notify search engines. So if you have all Pages, it will be tough to get your site indexed

  Thanks for feedback. Still figuring this out. Think I’ll delete stuff myself as there are only one or two posts but I want to keep the name.
  I was trying to search for it in google or even put address directly in, but it wasn’t coming up for me so thought I had done something wrong with settings. Spot the newbie here! :)
