Starting Over Fresh

I’m trying to start a completely new blog, and I don’t want to continue paying for this domain name, so I want to completely delete my blog. I’ve already exported and deleted all of my posts and content, I just can’t find where to actually delete my blog. I’ve tried looking online and it said that on my dashboard there should be a ‘delete site’ option under the ‘tools’ category but my only tools are import, export, and available tools. Even the wordpress step-by-step guide says there should be a ‘delete site’ option, but I don’t see it. Thank you so much for your help!

Your site is not actually a wordpress.com site. You would have to delete your site from your account with your hosting provider.
