Starting over with the same URL

I need a clean start! I’d like to delete all my pages and posts, and especially *reset all my settings* to their original defaults in hopes of eliminating some maddening quirks I’ve been experiencing. I’m hoping a wordpress staffer can clear things out for me because my very simple blog has already been an incredible timesuck. Help?

Thank you for your response. I’ve seen this page and the information on it, but I was hoping for a faster and more thorough solution. Given my track record so far I’m concerned that the DIY method might leave some of my troublesome settings intact.
I also saw a page that said this:
“If you want a site but don’t want any of the posts and pages you have now, our support team can delete your posts, pages, media, and comments for you.”^ This is what I want to happen. How do I initiate the process?
