starting sessions

  Hi, I’ve made two php pages which would comunicate through sessions…
  …what have I to do to enable php sessions in the last WP?
  have I to put <?php session_start(); ?> into any config file?

  With wordpress.COM, you cannot use PHP script, javascript, flash, iframes or forms due to security concerns.

  If you are not hosted at wordpress.COM, but instead self-hosted and using the software downloaded from wordpress.ORG, you need to direct your question to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ . This forum is for users of WordPress.COM, the free hosting service, and it uses a modified multi-user version of the software which is different from what you are using and few, if any, here know anything about it.

  WordPress.com or WordPress.org? The difference.

  All I wanted to do was to go somewhere, ie here, I think, and voice some opinion. This just getting started seems overwhelming. What am I missing here? I seem to be chasing my tail. At one time I thought I was fairly knowledgeble. Any help would be nice. PS. asking for help means I really did try to do my homework. Again, thanks.
