starting site when I own name but am not ready to transfer

  How can I build my site while leaving my current site as is. I don’t want to transfer name until I have a site ready to go.

  Can you please share URL of your current website?

  Is it self-hosted custom domain? If yes, you can create a free website *.wordpress.com website for now and then map to current website once it is ready to go.

  @suzhayes, noting if the site is here, you can use a free address until you’re ready to map or transfer your domain. No problem there.
