Stat confusion
-
Under my stats, it says that one person has asked to be notified of comment updates, yet no comment was left. What does that mean? More importantly under the “Tweet” stat it says 193. What does that mean? Do I have followers via twitter that aren’t registered as followers on my actual blog page?
Thanks for clarifying.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It means they can read the comments your receive on the post by email and if they wish to join the discussion they can do so. If you have a business blog then that follower could be a competitor of yours gathering information they intend to use to their own advantage. Bottom line: There is no definitive answer.

It means your posts have been shared on Twitter 193 times. There is no means of identifying who shared them.
NOTE: If you use Publicize app http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/ to autopost to social networks, then do note that the Facebook friends and Twitter followers are all being added into the follower number here at wordpress.com.

These may be helpful:
Your followers are the number of readers following your blog posts and post comments. Follower stats show you all the users that have active email subscriptions to your blog posts using the built-in email notification system on WordPress.com. They don’t include users that subscribed using a third-party subscription service or using RSS. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/05/17/wordpress-com-who-follows-who/ Read more here > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/07/09/wordpress-followers-likes-and-stats/
