I don’t think the stat counter is very accurate. My summary says I have, like, 3 views, but on the actual stat page, it’s blank. Why?

3 views means 3 views for the entire time your blog is up. if your stats for today is blank, it mean no one has visited it yet.

Ok. Because I think I’ve been up about a week or so, and have like 50 views. Do you think the stat counter is updating slow or something?

how did u estimate your views count? yes, the stat counter has a delay, but only of 180 seconds or so. also, it won’t count ur own visits, as long as ur logged in. that’s all i can say.

That little graph thing says like, 20 views, but the page summary says like, 2 views on one post, 3 views on another…it just doesn’t add up. Am I reading it wrong or something?

Yes, you’re reading it wrong. Because it’s a blog, most of the hits aren’t going to show on individual posts; they just show on the blog main page. People read your posts on the main page and scroll down. No matter how many they read that way, it counts as only one hit.
You only get hits on specific pages when someone clicks on the Comments or the permalink (in title) of that post. So that’s never going to add up to your total hits for a day or a week or any period of time.
