Stat Counter suddenly started counting "image" views on two of my posts.

  My stat counter, just this week, has started to count “image” views along with “post” views. Why is that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Image, or “attachment page” views, like the one below have always been included in your stats:

  

  Perhaps certain attachment pages are beginning to show more prominently in search results leading more visitors directly to your attachment pages rather than to the individual posts. Here are some elements of your site that are not included in your stats:

  • Visits to uploaded documents and files
  • Visits from browsers that do not execute javascript or load images
  • GoogleBot and other search engine spiders
  • Visits you make to your own publicly available blog (when logged in to your account)
  • Visits by users that are logged in, and listed as admins on the blog
