Stat error rate

    What is the error rate for your stats? At one point this morning I have one visitor, and four views from two different countries. This evening I have ten visitors and ten views. That does not add up nicely.

    Hi there,

    I took a look at your stats, and I don’t see any errors jumping out at me. You may sometimes notice that your visitor count lags behind your views count. (That explains why sometimes there are more views or countries than visitors in your stats.) This is due to the way we crunch the numbers. Typically a view is reported within five minutes, while it can take up to two hours to report new visitors.

    If you think there’s an error in your stats that isn’t explained by that view/visitor lag, please let me know and we can look into it for you.
