Stat Tracking?
-
Hello everyone;
I just wanted to ask a quick question to the community about tracking your website stats. I know that there is a built-in functional website stat-tracker. The problem is, that it does not seem to be working. It says that it is unavailable at this time. So, I was wondering if it was possible to use a third-party tracking service. Such as Google Analytics? I am not looking to pay any money for these services, I was just wondering if it was possible to use them on this blogging website?
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

See here please re: Google Analytics
Can I use Google Analytics?
No, Google Analytics cannot be used on WordPress.com blogs at this time. http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#additional-infoYes we can use third party visitor tracking on free hosted WordPress.com blogs, provided it’s not Javacript. Scroll down to Visitor Tracking on this page to locate alternatives htt://onecoolsitebloggingips.com/popular-posts/
As for your stats not being available at this time I would wait. In fact you appear to have only two published posts and it can take 4 – 6 weeks for them to be indexed and appear in search engines results. Have you verified your blog ownership with the major search engines using this process? http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/ This post sets out 10 factors that may expedite the indexing process > http://www.onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/01/21/omg-i-cant-find-my-blog-on-google/

Thanks a lot for the reply, I appreciate it. The problem is, that Google and every other service I have used, all use javascript. Any work around?

You can’t use tracking that has javascript – there are several tracking methods that use plain html that can be used here. @timethief has several on her onecoolsitebloggingtips at her site above.

This is a multiuser blogging platform and there is no workaround re: Javascript. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ I have published what we can use. Please click the link above to my Popular Posts page and scroll down to visitor tracking to locate see the options available.

g’day to you. :) -

@literaryenthusiast Let me add this. You said that:
It says that it is unavailable at this time.
Reason: You may not have enough visitors to be displayed, since your blog is only 1 day old.

Agreed and that’s what I was pointing out above. There are only 2 published posts and they have not been indexed as yet.
