How do I add statcounter.com code to my site? I am a book review blogger and need to add this code to track my traffic. The counter is for a blog tour company I have joined, and they need to track visitors on my site. Here is the code:
<div id=”statcounter_image” style=”display:inline;”><a
title=”wordpress blog stats”
href=”http://statcounter.com/wordpress.org/”
class=”statcounter”><img
src=”http://c.statcounter.com/9752305/0/1e9f35af/0/”
alt=”wordpress blog stats” style=”border:none;” /></div>I inserted the code into a widget. It shows up on my about page and not counting visits to my site stats on Statcounter.com.
If you can tell me how to insert this to my blog, it will be greatly appreciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no access to metadata on WordPress.COM blogs and we bloggers can access the <header > and insert any tracking codes into our blogs there.
All you can do is open a text widget and copy and paste the code into it and doing that will not track all of your stats. If this is a deal breaker for you then you can hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up you own WordPress.ORG install.
