Static content on front page of Oxygen theme

    It looks like Oxygen isn’t set up to have static content on the front page, right? However, I wish to place some text about our company on the front page.

    (from my existing website AS OF 17may2015: http://paulshaperproductions.com/ )

    Can I remove the “recent articles” bar, post thumbnail, the “Read Article” arrow (Permalink to A little history…), “A LITTLE HISTORY” (in blue); then move the text (starting with “PAUL SHAPER PRODUCTIONS…”) to where the “recent articles” bar currently is?

    If so, I achieve my goal :) Please help if you can.

    Hi.

    I would say you can use static pages as Front Page with Oxygen theme. First you should create a page. After that, in the last customizing option, check the radio button “A static page” (Front page displays) and a list of your pages will be shown to you in an option list to allow you to choose one.

    Have you tried that?
