Static Front Page
-
Hi I’d like to make it so my front page can’t scroll. More like this -> http://imjonnyp.com/
I’m using the obsidian theme.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Every theme has a detailed theme description page. This one is at https://wordpress.com/theme/obsidion and that’s where set up instructions for it and the live demo site link is found.
By default the Home page of every site is the URL of the site.
You can create a Page https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/#create-a-new-page first and then designate it as a static front page. You can also create another page for your posts to appear on.
This is a one or the other situation. You have two choices on any blog
(1) All posts on the front page.
(2) Or a static front page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ and all posts on a different page. -
I’ve already done that. But if you notice you can still scroll. I want my social media menu to be seen at the bottom of the page no matter what size the browser is. And no matter what size the browser is i don’t want it to be able to scroll.

Hi there,
The following CSS should do it:
header#masthead.site-header { min-height: calc(100vh - 280px); }Click on My Sites, then click the Customize button next to Themes, then click on CSS. Paste that code on a new line in the text box.
Note that we don’t really provide in-depth CSS support in the regular support forum, so if you need more help with these types of customizations to your theme, please post in the CSS forums instead:
