  Hi, I want to set up a static front page. forthat I have created two pages (one home, one blog). The customize menu offers the possibility of static front page or last blog. but in the case of front page not the choice of which site.
  in the reading menu here is no possibility to Change it. So the blog always starts with the last post.
  I am using the twenty ten design. Thanks for helping me.

  Hi there, I do see the Blog placeholder page you created, but I don’t see a page created to be your homepage.

  Once you’ve created a page that you want to be displayed as your homepage – this should be a real page with the content you’d like to display to your visitors, not just a placeholder – you’ll need to select it from the drop-down menu next to “Front page.”

  Then, select your placeholder page called “Blog” next to “Posts page.”
