static front page

  I’ve created a static front page but now my blog isn’t showing. I’ve gone into the reading settings and made sure that the correct static page is selected but my blog isn’t showing on the dropdown for the posts section to be able to select it.

  Hey Lucy!

  You haven’t yet created a Blog page, and assigned your blog posts to it. You must do this, if you are using a static front page.

  Instructions to be found here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
