static front page image

  hi, I’m trying to have the front page of my site just feature the title & background image. currently it has a blog-like post that says “Nothing Found.” I do not want any sort of post to appear on the front page. Just the title, background, & the menu. Is this doable? Is there any way to make this dream a reality?
