Static Front Page not showing content

    I am working with the theme called ‘Great’. I want a static home page with the content from the page that I’ve created called ‘Home’ to appear when visitors go to the home page. When you view this page (the ‘Home’ page), it is blank with the exception of the header and footer. All other pages I have created show all of the content; just my front page does not show the content from the page I have assigned to be the Front Page (‘Home’). I followed the steps on forums and such and the content still does not show (FYI, the ‘Home’ page has been ‘published’ after editing as well).

    Please help! :)

    Hi there ,
    Which URL are you referring to? The URL we have is https://wickettbehavioralsolutions.wordpress.com/
    Is this the one ? This one has the Shoreditch theme.
    In this case you just have to go to
    Themes–>Customize–>Static Front page
    And then assign the page you have created to appear as the Static Page.
    If its another URL let us know we can help you better.

    I am having a very similar problem and I have been all over the forums, internet and have been trying idea after idea. Most of the posts regarding this matter are years old and so outdated that solutions or options people were told to do are no longer found on the wordpress dashboard let alone a solution to the problem.

    Please help I know this has to be something as simple as checking a box or unchecking a box or something absurdly stupid like that, but I cant find that box and have been to every screen there is in the WP dashboard.

    It says I have no home page. I have gone to setting>reading and switched to static front page and have chosen the page I want to be my front page. I have gone to Appearance and customized and chosen static front page and my choice is already there. I have gone into menus and made sure the menus were they were supposed to be. The worst part is I have a video step by step telling me what to do, and I did everything step by step with this exact same template and content 2 months ago, and had no problems. But that is obviously not the case tonight. This should have been a 10 second task I am going on 8 hours now trying to figure this out please can someone tell me how to make my home page be a static page displaying 1 of my already published pages please???????

    I am using the ttemplate theme ghazale the other site that is using this same template no problems super easy and fast to build out. Right now my current websites home page is displaying blogs or trying to and that is not what I want it to do.
