Static front page with CSS

  Hi everyone,

  I am attempting to create a static page that enables me to manually link my category archives and then set that static page as my homepage.
  Then display the links to my category archives as boxes or columns.
  I do not understand custom CSS.

  I really need some help.
  I would be very grateful.

  As a starting point, I recommend this introductory guide to HTML. Follow the instructions there to add links to your category archives on your home page:

  Let me know when you’ve done that! If possible, please also provide links to other sites on the web that you’re trying to emulate the look of on your home page.
