Static Header Top Middle Between 2 side widgets

i would like help adding a solid, colored table between the top 2 widget areas. I do not like the way that the top looks like a jack-o-lantern’s gaping grin. The top needs to be connected. Please.

Hmm, this particular theme is designed with those columns in mind. Have you thought about using a different three-column theme if you don’t like the look of this one?

Yes, that is probably the better choice. I tested it on a dummy. It will take me hours to move all that junk around, but I think I’ll go for it. I’ll do that Sunday or Monday. Heading of to a conference. Thanks Loads

Thank you for the offer, @jackikellum . I have designed some themes, but they were for individual sites and were never publicly released. We do have some great options here, though!
I recommend using the Customizer feature to preview a theme and see how it fits your site as-is. That way you can look without saving your changes.
You can also look through our themes list, and view the demos for the ones you like. If you find something you love, check out its info page for setup instructions. People have done some really amazing things with the themes here!
