Static home page for videos

    Hello everyone, I am a newby so please be gentle.I will explain a little backround and what I am trying to do. I have a site that I would like to be able to mirror and I am trying to figure this out.
    I would like to post up videos for my site. I am trying to set my site up simular to this site and I assume it is a woodpress. http://www.techpb.com This site has a static front page and uses it to link its videos to it. I am trying to do the same. I have not upgraded my site as of yet. I am thinking that I have to set up the home page as a static page, post up my videos, then link them back to the same page. I do not want the public to see my posts but I am having a difficult time doing this…..arg…….I am new to this and still learning.
    I would like my home page static on what my newest videos are then I was hoping people can link to them on the sidebar. practicepage234.wordpress.com (where I am trying to post up without the public to see my videos on the home page but only through the links) This is my real page http://www.devildogspaintball.com
    Has anyone been using the video aspect of posting?

    There is no upgrade required to create a static page on the wordpress.com blog linked to your username. Here is the link to instructions including a video http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

    The bog you wish to “mirror” is a self hosted wordpress.org install, and wordpress.com blogs and wordpress.org blogs are different. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
