Static home page is now showing posts

    Hello
    My static home page has suddenly start displaying all of the posts. The Settings:Reading options have been set for 3 years to a Static Home Page and a separate Post page. I removed the Post page 3 weeks ago and the site has been fine but today it now displays all the posts and completely ignores my intended Home page.
    I have tried changing the settings, creating a new page for both and have checked my Menu settings.

    I am at a loss!
