  Hi

  I am trying to make a static page for my blog but it does not show the option to create a new page.

  The option to create a new WordPress.com Page is available here. https://wordpress.com/pages

  You will have to name your Page as Home and then you can set this page as your static homepage as mentioned on this guide. https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
