Static home page with a blog

Hello
I am having a problem. I am trying to have a static home page, plus the blog. I had that set up before but I accidently deleted something either in my menu, or in the customizer somewhere and now I cannot get it back the way it was.
If I go into Customizer, and unclick the button that makes it a static page, my blog will appear again.
But now all of a sudden now it’s the opposite. The radio button is clicked for my latest posts, but its stuck on being a static page.
I had both before, so how do I do it again? Thanks.
I am currently on the Suits theme.

(1) All posts on the front page.
(2) A static front page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ and all posts on a different page.By default the front page of your blog displays all published posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. That is for the convenience of your returning visitors, who come to read your latest post, and who are not likely to be happy with being compelled to click through the same static page with the same blah, blah, blah on it every time they visit the blog looking for the latest post.
However, if you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, then you can create a static front page called for example “Welcome” for your site and a “Blog” page for posts. Create your Blogs page first http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change and click “save changes”.
