Static home page…how to create in Twenty Ten?
-
I’m confused about how to make my “home page” really the static HOME page. In Twenty Ten there is the Home link, but I would rather have the home-page saying “About This Site.” I have a page made for that, but even after setting the priority to 1, there is still an issue. Formerly I did have a different page successfully set as the “front” page (or Home), but I’d like to change it now to the one I made which is titled “About This Site.” Been awhile since I’ve come in here, so whatever I did before I have forgotten…
And I know I’ve read about this same problem somewhere on the forums but I can’t track down the post…
Going back now to check under Settings>Reading…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To set the “about this site” page as the static front page for your site, see this support document: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ .
To get rid of the “home” tab and have the “about this site” tab as the home page tab, and to have it first, you will have to create a custom menu. Then you can include exactly what you want and arrange the tags as you desire.
