  I want to display my three recent posts below the slider on my static homepage. I am using the Toujours theme btw.

  To display three posts below the slideshow, navigate to Theme Options in the Customizer. Choose whether to display your three most recent posts in a special area above your other posts. This option works well with posts that have featured images. More information on setting up your theme can be found at https://wordpress.com/themes/toujours/

  I already followed the instructions you have given me however, more than three posts were seen on my static homepage. How could I limit the posts? I only want the most three recent posts.

  Oh, I see but I’m not sure how to achieve that as I haven’t tried Toujours theme on my blog. Let’s just wait for someone from the WordPress.com support team to look into your issue.
