Static Homepage

I am using WP’s theme Buziness and have created a Welcome page that I wish to be the first page (homepage) that my readers see. I have selected it as my static homepage, but another blank screen appears instead with my last 3 blogs at the bottom. This page does not seem editable or I would have used this instead. How can I get the Welcome page to be my Homepage?

    Hello,

can you share the website URL so we can take a look at it?

In the meantime, you can try these steps to set up your homepage.
Go to Settings>General> and there you can set the homepage per your desire, here is the screenshot as well: https://prnt.sc/m53ql2

Since your website is using the self-hosted version of WordPress, and not the WordPress.com one, please post your further inquiries and questions on the WordPress.org forums:
    https://wordpress.org/support/

    I hope this helps,
    Cheers

I replied yesterday, but not sure that you got it. My website is laurabrooks.biz and you are welcome to take a look. From your screenshot, it looks very similar to the Homepage screen that I have in the Buziness theme and I have chosen my Welcome page as the homepage, but it defaults to a blank screen as I mentioned. Thanks very much for the offer of help!
