Static page

  Hello !

  I have an issue about my static page .. (sorry titles in French !)

  I would like the page(“accueil”) to be my home page. I used Elementor builder (perfect by the way) to do a kind of One page (specially to have a perfect home page, more modern than the usual template). It works at the beguinning, but now, WordPress backoffice doesnt want to use my page “Accueil” as home page. I dont understand because its still a page so normally I have the choice to use the page I want in the backoffice.

  Can you help me to force wordpress to use it ? It’s for my mother in law… let me get some points ahah :p

  Hi @lescapricesdelareine06.

  Just to clarify, when you go into the Customizer and then “Homepage Settings” is the option for “Static Page” chosen? If it is, is the Accueil page listed as an option there?

  it seems like it was problem for few days and finally I tried it again and it works. I did before what you said, and it wasn’t working; now everything its ok ! :p

  I know my Sela theme has a front page setting with extra widgets. But also after selecting my static front page ‘home’. I don’t have to option to select the front page setting in the drop down menu (on the page itself). How can I fix this?
  I think it was there when I started to use the Sela theme, but I cannot find it/change it back.

  Please your advise
