Static page menu option issue

Hi guys, my website is hosted at wordpress, with domain forwarding.

This site has a static page set up, however tonight the menu started displaying both a ‘HOME’ and ‘WELCOME’ feature in the menu. The welcome menu is set to my static page.

I tried setting the welcome page to private, however upon testing, the website opened with the 404 error, so I have had to leave it up, although the menu now looks disjointed as a result with both a HOME & WELCOME page listed and both detailing the exact same content.

i really like the Freshy theme, and use it on multiple blogs, but it does seem to be becoming more and more buggy.
    1) the menu links wrap around borders the text on the left side, but the right side runs off the screen
    2) All links within the site disply a faded grey that is very hard to read. The only remedy is to go and insert html code to bring up a color. This has remained unfixed for probably 12 months, although apparently it was being worked on.
    3) Now the issue with the static page is presenting itself.

Of course I appreciate WP help (especially TSP) incredibly so. Just thought some feedback on increasing issues with this fabulous theme could be of benefit. I don’t want to walk away from it, but it seems to be giving a lot of headaches now.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To hide that tab, you can turn the page into a child page:

Or you can create a custom menu:
