Static page with blogroll

I would like to have a static page with all of my links (friends, blogroll, etc). Is this possible with a hosted WordPress site?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

You can indeed have a static page as your front page! We even have a guide on how to set it right here:

    Set the Homepage

On that page you can design it however you wish (including making it a link repository) using the page editor!

Thank you for your reply, but that’s not quite what I’m looking for. I’d like to keep my menu a list of my pages, and I’d like for one of those pages to be a “Links” page with all of my links on it.

    Hi there,

OK, thanks for the clarification. Let me ask you, on that page which you’d like to create, are you looking to be able to load widgets on to it like you have on your sidebar (such as your blogroll, etc) or are you just looking to be able to create hyperlinks?

    Let me know!

Yes–it would be ideal if I could create a page with just the links widget on it. :-)

    Hiya,

I was hoping you would say you wanted to create your own hyperlinks! The widgets are unable to be placed anywhere other than in the sidebar by default.

There may be some way to mirror the widgets using CSS and our Custom Design package, however I am not familiar with it and we would not be able to give you any assistance with it.
