  Can I remove the date posted at the top of my static pages?

  It is hard coded into the theme files, so I am afraid it isn’t possible.

  If I am not mistaken, all the static pages (assuming you mean Pages) show the date on almost (if not all) themes, so I am not sure if you can find a theme that doesn’t show the date. Removing the date from *only* the archive page wouldn’t be possible. There are some CSS tricks that you can “hide” certain elements of the page, but generally it would remove all the dates from your blog.
