Can I close the comments in static pages?

    Can I create pages where readers cannot leave a reply?
    For instance, in the about page, I just need to write information on what the Blog is about and I don’t want people to leave a reply on the basic text.

    Please edit your page, and when you are on the Edit screen, scroll down your window. You will see a Discussion module in which you can deactivate the comments for a give page.

    If you don’t see the Discussion module, please click on the Screen options tab at the top of the window and check the Discussion checkbox in the panel that will appear.
