static pages, redundant inaccessible home pages?

  I have opted for first page viewers see to be static; the about page. I have made 3 pages; about, pictures, papers. All three are accessible. Great. But there’s a tab for Home page which is inaccessible. It is completely redundant becasue there’s nothing on it, but even if I wanted to put stuff on it, or delete it. My dasboard doesn’t realise its there. This happened since I oped for a static home page. Once posts come in I would like it to updated chronologically.

  How do I activate or delete the home page, or at least its tab?

  I don’t know, but I have the same problem on all three of my blogs.
