Hello Natalie,
Yes you can add a blog.
Make a new page and give it a title such as “Blog” or “News” or “Running Comentary”. You don’t need to have anything written on the page because it won’t appear to the public.
From your dashboard, go to Settings—>Reading—>”Front page displays”—>”A static page
Front page: AutoImune New Zealand
Posts page: your newly created page name”
—>updateNow your new page will show your posts. To add posts, from your dashboard Posts—>Add New—>write categorize and publish
Let me know if you have more questions!

Hi Tess, that’s super, done (its page: 11, called: A Weekly Diary) Now, Im sorry to ask but can I have members of my community sign up to be notified each time I add to that blog … and can I not have them contribute .. just me..
Regards,
Natalie -
Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets >> Drag and drop the Subscribe by Email & RSS Feed Widgets to the sidebar and drop in a good place (near the top & easy to see)
Two Widgets as there are two ways to subscribe to blogs
