static site option

  If I am looking to build a static site that may or may not have a blog with it, is WordPress.com a viable option and if so, which theme might be best to start off with for a small business services-based site with a cool corporate feel? If I need ecommerce options (paypal etc.), is WP.com still a good option? Thank you in advance. Just wanting to start off on the right foot. Thanks.

  A free WP platform site is not what you’re looking for. You’ll need something self-hosted.

  What if it were simply a static site (no ecommerce)? Would WP.org be a better option?
