Static Webpage – Pages

    Hi team,

I’m unable in the settings -> read section to change it so pages are static web pages and not posts. How am I able to change this? or is it due to the theme I’m using?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no way to convert a post to a page and vica versa. The easiest way is by copying all blocks from the post, create a new page and paste all blocks into that page.

  • Hi there!

What you’re seeing is not caused by your theme, and you don’t need to convert posts into pages to fix this.

Here’s how it works on WordPress.com:

Posts are for blog entries (shown in reverse chronological order).
Pages are for static content like Home, About, or Contact.

If you want your site to show static pages instead of posts, you need to adjust the Reading settings, not convert content types. How to set a static homepage

    1. Go to My Site → Settings → Reading
    2. Under “Your homepage displays”, select A static page
    3. Choose:
      • A page for Homepage (for example, “Home”)
      • A page for Posts page (for example, “Blog”), if you still want a blog
    4. Save changes

If you don’t see any pages listed in the dropdown, you’ll first need to create them via Pages → Add New.
