Good morning. My problem is no stats. Although I’ve received notification today of two followers, breakdown stats don’t seem to be working. I’d appreciate your help. Many thanks, TLB.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your followers are found at https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog_subscribers

Our stats are not real time stats. For details see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/ and note the views and viewers take hours to update.

Also note that those who follow your blog in the Reader or by email don’t have to click into the blog unless they wish to. Likes and shares and comments and reblogs and follows are not page views. In fact, likes, shares, comments and reblogs are completely misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can “follow” your blog, “like”, “share” and “reblog” your posts in several locations such as the Reader, without ever clicking into your blog and creating a single page view stat.

    Hello there!

I’d also like to report that the visitor and view statistics are not displaying correct numbers and I know this because of the numbers of “likes” being 40-60% higher than the numbers of “views”.

It is really impossible to have 250 “likes”, for example, but only 130 views and it is this discrepancy that is occurring on my blog.

Is there something I can do to correct this?

    Thanks!

Remember – people can “like” a Post and NEVER visit your blog

Yes, it’s perfectly normal to have that. No, there’s nothing you can do to correct it because there is nothing wrong.

Did you read what TT said?
