Statistics doesn't seem to add up all the time

    Hi,

    Even though the statistics on my wordpress blog said that I had no visitors or views, I got several followers during that time.

    Just wondering if somebody else has noticed that the statistics doesn’t seem to add up all the time like this (like getting followers when having no visitors according to the statistics)?
    Also, is the statistics registering me (the author of the blog) when I visit my own site, or not? Sometimes it seem like it does, sometimes not…

    Really, if there was a way to turn off the stats completely I would, but it seems not, right?

    If you’re logged into your own public site, we do not count your visits.

    Even though the statistics on my wordpress blog said that I had no visitors or views, I got several followers during that time.

    I’m guessing the followers are following from the reader without actually clicking through to your post.
