Hi!
Thanks for your email.
Yes I have shared my link with friends in Nigeria and they actually accessed my website, they also told me about my content and liked some articles. I can see these likes but the stats doesn’t count that they have seen my website.

@josephpatrick12 we get the country information based on their internet connection. Is it possible their ISP says something besides Nigeria on it?
You can have them go to whatismyip.com and it should tell them what location their connection reports.
-
Also if your friends are following the site by email and get the full content there, they may not have actually visited the site.

I’ve had them tried and their ISP says correct location Abuja Nigeria.
Please I would like to let you understand that their visits in the previous months (May) were clearly reported. I still can see it counted in the stats.
I think it’s not something related to their internet connection because they confirm to have used the same connection from last month. The problem is, how come you it has been counting since last year but only this month it has stopped to count for this country?I am really sorry to bother you about this issue

Hi there,
Have you shared (with your friends) some specific page or simply your site’s address?
Also, make sure that your friends do not use any browser extensions that block third-party cookies as this might be the cause.

Hello!
I shared with them some specific pages and to other friends I shared my site address.
Thank you.

Thanks. Please tell me what specific pages you’ve requested they visit.
Also, it’s important they aren’t using any type of browser extension that would block third party cookies because that would likely be the issue.
I think we should review this in one weeks time. Write back and tell us:
– how many people were asked to visit the page
– the specific page(s) in question
– confirmation from them that they did visit it
– confirmation no browser cookie blocking agents are in place
