Statistics page crashes

  Hello! Since I created my blog with wordpress I cannot visit the statistics page because it keeps crashing the whole time. Does anybody know a solution to this problem? Many thanks in advance!

  Hello – I’m having the same issue. I get the message about script debugging, and when I press “stop script” I even can’t choose another element on my dashboard. This is, what the pop-up says: https://wordpress.com/calypso/…on.0e246bdbcf3df87fdd65.min.js:18
  Is this perhaps a firefox issue?

  Hi! I only had the problem when using Google Chrome. Someone told me it could be a problem with the browser, so I tried with Firefox. With that browser the page works properly.

  Hi there,

  I am adding the modlook tag as instructed by Staff, so they can be made aware you’re having this issue. Please be patient while waiting for someone on Staff to have a look.

  Most welcome, Tamara. As far as I know, they are currently working on trying to understand why this is happening and finding a solution.

  Hi Everyone,

  This is a known issue that we are working on.

  In the meantime, there are a few things you can try when accessing your WordPress.com insights page.

  1. Check your connectivity.
  2. Access your WordPress.com user account in different web browser, and verify that you are running the most current version of that browser.
  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies. Also, disable any browser extensions.

  If none of the above fix your issue, we can try adding some text to your JS console on your browser. This is a more complicated step and I will help you each individually if needed. Please update me.

  Wow, these tips made my day :-)
  I just got the newest version of Firefox (came back only today from a short vacation and saw your mail) and cleared my cache and voilà – no crashing anymore. Thank you so much, I’ll remember that and hope not to bother you again too soon ;-)
