Statistics :: What is a hit?

  I’m not clear on what a hit is, is it a single visit, is it a click on a link, is it a image loading on the page.

  Is it something else????

  I cant find much information on hits, so I put it to you!

  Every time someone views your blog, you get a hit. If someone clicks on another page of your blog, you get two hits.
