Statistics–why are my own views showing and can this be fixed?

  I am putting together a blog. It is currently private, so not available to anyone but me to view. My understanding was that stats are not to show my own views, but they are showing. Can this be fixed?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Private blogs show views of logged in users – public blogs don’t show views of logged in users.

  If logged in users were not counted for Private blogs you would never show a view

  Your views will show on a private blog, but not a public one.
