Stats

When I look at the Stats for “Everyone Has One” they are super high and I know I can’t be getting those. Is spam?. I see that it says they are coming from twitter but on May 12th it said I had 3,215 referred by Twitter. But the days before that are at 5 or 6 views.

    Can you shed some light?

    Thanks.

    Hi there!

It looks like Acacia Brinley linked to your website in a tweet:

    https://twitter.com/AcaciaBrinley/status/465959255120437249

It looks like she meant it to be a joke and didn’t realize there was actually a site at everyonehasone.com.

Let me know if I can help further!

Friday I had another high hit day. It was over 1,000. I wish someone could answer this question. Could someone be trying to get my personal information from this? Now I’m getting concerned.

    Thanks,
    Judith

    Hi again!

You can see where your visitors are coming from through the referrer section of your stats page. To see this information for last Friday, just go to your Stats page and click on the bar in the graph that is Friday:

This will take you to the stats that are specific to Friday’s visitors.

If you take a look in the Referrers module on the left, you’ll see that most of your visitors came from Twitter.

I headed over to Twitter and did a quick search for your domain again and here’s what I found:

    https://twitter.com/search?q=everyonehasone.com&src=typd

It looks like on June 12 a couple of people retweeted the initial joke tweet that I specified last time, which caused another spike in visitors.

No one is trying to compromise your site. And there is no way that anyone is accessing your personal information this way.

Let me know if you have any questions about this!
