    Hi,

When you are logged in, your visits are not counted as stats.

For more information on what is counted as visits, see:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/

    Hope that helps!

Please click your username in this thread and discover what I did. You have it linked to an external domain. There is no domain mapping upgrade for wordpress.co.za. If you would like to use this domain to map to from your wordpress.com blog at http://womenoffaithdotme.wordpress.com/ then know that WordPress.com provides free blogs and free hosting for them. WordPress.com does not accept domain name transfers but mapping to an existing domain can be done.

Domain mapping of an existing domain URL that you already own and purchased elsewhere is not done free of charge. You will have to renew the domain name purchase where you made it and the domain mapping purchase here every year.

    Important Notes Before Upgrading http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#important-notes-before-upgrading

Mapping an existing domain costs $13. annually. In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from. If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase a domain name by purchasing an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog.

See here for mapping an existing domain that you already own http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

honeysilvas has responded to your question. Provided you are logged in when visiting your blog, your own views are not recorded on any public blog you registered. May I please inform you a bit further on this?

Our stats are not real time stats. For details see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/ and note the views and viewers take hours to update.

Our stats are page view stats. Please do not assume that everyone who clicks a like button, a fo9llow button, or a reblog button actually reads the post on your blog because odds are they may not.

Also note that those who follow your blog in the Reader or by email don’t have to click into the blog unless they wish to. And, they can even comment without clicking into the blog either.

Likes and shares and comments and reblogs and follows are not page views. In fact, likes, shares, comments and reblogs are completely misleading when you are talking about page view stats.

Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com/Gravatar account who is logged into WordPress.com can “follow” your blog, “like”, “share” and “reblog” your posts in several locations such as the Reader, without ever clicking into your blog and creating a single page view stat.

Logged in visitors using a mobile can read the full post without creating a page view stat. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/wordpresscom-reader-show-full-text?replies=31#post-1373606

You can control the length of the entry sent out on your RSS feed here Dashboard > Settings > Reading. Choose the “summary” setting for your RSS feed rather than to “full text”. That will compel followers who are not using mobiles to click into the blog to read the full post which will create a page view stat.
