stats?
-
Sorry for the duplicate post, but for some reason on the home page it is showing as resolved. When I was looking at my site last night, I noticed that there were numbers below some of my posts. These were links, and when clicked, they would open in a new window and take me to my site. The url it linked to would give a not found message. When I clicked the more stats link under one of these, it showed a different number. What do these mean?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. The topic you created yesterday, and which is shown below, says “This topic is not resolved” for me:

It is not showing resolved in the topic, but on the main questions page where all the topics are listed it is, so I created the new topic today. Any answer to my question?

Go ahead and ignore the last reply, I just saw your other post. I don’t know why some topics won’t show as resolved on the main forum page when you set them that way and others just do randomly.
-
FWIW I believe only the person who created the thread, Moderators and Staff can mark threads “resolved.”
-
And in both cases yesterday I had created the threads and marked them resolved. Also, how do sites without links to my site on them show up in my referror section of stats?

Question: How do sites without links to my sites sho up in my referer section of my stats?
Not all visitors will land on your blog by clicking a link somewhere else. Visitors may type your URL directly into the web browser, click a link in an email, or click a link in another application which then loads the browser. Visitors that come from search engines will also not be counted as referrers because they’ll be listed in the search engine terms. http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#additional-info

Yes, but there are some sites in my stats like home morgage something or other. If I clicked these, they probably would show no links back to y site, so where do they come from?

@timethief
That is what I was going to do, but how do they get there in the first place?
