Why doesn't the number of daily stats add up to the number of subscribers?

  I’m confused about my stats. I have a number of subscribers. However, my daily stats are under that number at times. How does that add up? Thanks.

  Those two numbers are not measuring the same thing. A pageview stat is the number of times your blog is viewed. A subscriber is when someone signs up to receive notices about new posts on your blog. A subscriber won’t necessarily generate a pageview stat if they don’t open their email or click through to your blog. It’s up to them whether to view the blog after they are subscribed.
