Stats
-
To be clear, if my views to my blog don’t count, then why does my stats go up every time i type in my URL to the browser? I’m logged in to my WordPress account, but my stats go up everytime I visit the actual site. Is there anyway to identify myself as the admin and not count my views? The stats will increase for the Home page, and every post I click on. So basically all my views are just me visiting my page over and over to see how it looks? Could you please elaborate on how this works and possibly fix it? Thanks, it’s very frustrating.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you are logged in to the Admin account on your above Public site, your visits should not be counted. I’ve tagged this for Staff assistance. Please be patient for their response as on the weekend things may be a bit slower.
In the meantime, you may wish to review this support doc on Stats: https://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/

Hi @happynoodles5, I’ve seen this in rare cases, especially where the browser shows a preview of the site in a thumbnail. Does your browser do that?
