  How can someone leave a comment without being included in stats? A comment has been left but stats show no visitors on that day

  Hi there,

  It’s possible if they left it via the WordPress.com Reader. A visit is registered when someone visits your site. If someone is reading your site via the Reader, then no visit is being recorded.

  Many thanks …. I know I have a regular visitor/’stalker’ but thought I knew how many times the site was visited so seeing this comment without a visit confused me. I now know that I won’t ever know but at least it makes sense. Thanks.
