Stats

I want to check how many email followers I have on my blog but when I click ‘view all stats’ it takes me to login for my wordpress.com account, which says I don’t have any WordPress sites yet. How do I get it to recognize my primary site?

  • Hi there,

What is the URL of the site in question?

If it’s a self-hosted WordPress site connected via Jetpack, you most likely have it connected to a different WordPress.com username account.

The bonnie3936 account you’re using to post here used to have a Jetpack site, bonitagilbert.com, connected to it, but that connection belongs to a different account, and it appears the bonnie3936 user was removed from that site in April.

    The site is bonitagilbert.com
After a theme update in April I had glitches in the site, which I was told was probably due to a plugin conflict. A tech-savvy friend disabled jQuery Updater and reset Jetpack with new login. Is that when my user name bonnie3936 would have been removed? I don’t see how to get into Jetpack.

  • Because this is the support forum for WordPress.com sites (and not self-hosted sites using the Jetpack plugin) we’re not really able to provide support here.

However, it is usually the case that you can also “reset” the plugin by deactivating it, and then re-activating it (which will connect it to your WordPress.com account)

however, it would be best if you confirm here as the Jetpack support team may wish to take a look first. https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/

    Hope this helps!

I finally figured out that the new login created last spring was not something specific to Jetpack, but my new WordPress.com username account. I used it and now see all the stat info for my site. Thanks to both for your replies, and my apologies for taking up WordPress forum time with this!

  • No worries at all. Cheers!
