Stats??

  Hello! Is anybody out there to help? My stats have come to a virtual halt since yesterday afternoon- I usually have between 240-1000 a day, and last night from about 4pm on I had almost nothing. “Today” since 8pm est last night to now I’ve had 29 views. Is there something going on, and can I fix it from my end? Thanks!

  Your trend seems just fine.

  You have peaks of about 1,000 views periodically, but mostly valleys of about 300 views.

  Yesterday was a bit low at 211, but the day before was 349.

  You didn’t look at TODAY’S stats, but yesterday’s #’s. They went from the numbers you stated above, to 46. My search engine views are usually in the 150-200 range, and today they were 7!! Something is very wrong…please help!

  There is nothing wrong with your blog on this end, and we have no control over search engines and their indexes. It is possible that you may have just dropped in ranking.

  Out of the blue and literally overnight? That doesn’t make sense to me. Can there possibly be any other answer that I can look into?

  No, if it’s your search referrers that have plummeted, it’s pretty normal for that to happen overnight. Google likes to adjust their rankings frequently, and if they have decided that you should now be on page 10 instead of 4, that would lead to a significant drop.
