Stats are counting my own views during development process

  I am signed in and working on the blog. When I go to “view page/post” from where I am editing (in the edit page or edit post section), my visit to the page is being counted in the overall stats. I have read in several places that WordPress does not count our own views, but that is not the case in my experience. I can watch the number increment after every visit I make to my page, and my referrer is the WordPress dashboard. Please note: I am signed in the entire time. It would be better if visits to the site were really visits to the site and not me developing it…
